Guided Tours in Martina Franca
Itinerary through Martina Franca’s Baroque
Private tour or for organized groups
Tour Description
An itinerary to discover Martina Franca, an elegant village in the heart of the Itria Valley, reminiscent of a delicate little jewel.

The tour begins at Porta di Santo Stefano, beyond which stands the majestic Palazzo Ducale, residence of the Caracciolo Dukes, the feudal lords of Martina Franca. The palace façade combines Renaissance and Baroque elements, while the grand interior halls showcase the dramatic paintings of Domenico Carella.

The streets of the historic center are lined with impressive noble palaces reflecting late Baroque beauty. Sculpted decorations and motifs in the local stone adorn doorways, windows, and balconies, covering both civil and religious buildings, reaching their peak expression in the Basilica of San Martino (1775).
The city’s main streets converge on its principal squares: Piazza Plebiscito, with the Civic Tower, and Piazza Immacolata, featuring elegant porticoes.
